The Company |
P&C Aviation was originally founded to provide AirShares Elite, the leading Cirrus fractional ownership program, with the means to meet the training needs of their clients. We are the sole provider of client training for AirShares in Atlanta, GA, and also provide pilots for a large percentage of their pilot services needs. In this endeavor, our instructors have gained a great deal of experience flying and instructing in all makes of Cirrus, ranging from some of the first off the assembly line to the latest GTS models. The company has since expanded, handpicking the best and most experienced instructors (see below) along the way. We now address the training needs of clients all over the southeast, in addition to our responsibilities at Airshares.
More recently, P&C Aviation was chosen by SimTrain to staff the FAA-approved level III full-motion flight training device located at the Cobb-County/McCollum Airport in Atlanta, GA. The SimTrain facility is state-of-the-art, incorporating brand new computers, training software, and classroom space to support the training needs of the Cirrus community.
P&C Instructors routinely teach at Cirrus Pilot Proficiency Program (CPPP) events throughout the country, and will be hosting the CPPP event in Atlanta in May of this year. We have some of the best and brightest instructors in the industry, with not only excellent technical knowledge and experience, but warm and friendly personalities as well.

Christian Cherniak President Cirrus Standardized Instructor Christian has been flying and training in Cirrus aircraft almost as long as they have been in production. He is extremely active in the general aviation community, previously serving as President of the PDK Airport Association, and has instructed at nearly every Cirrus Pilot Proficiency Program. |

Joe Davis VP, Operations Cirrus Standardized Instructor Joe currently serves as a Regional Chief Pilot for Airshares Elite Southeast, overseeing the pilot training and pilot services programs. He has been training students and professionally flying Cirrus aircraft for over two years now, having compiled well over 1000 hrs in SR series aircraft. |

Rodney Russell Cirrus Standardized Instructor Rodney is a retired Delta Airlines Captain, flying nearly every piece of equipment Delta has fielded over the last thirty years. With over 25,000 flight hours, including over 600 in the Cirrus to date, Rodney is an extremely experienced pilot who blends a professional airline background with his experience instructing in general aviation. |

Joe Armstrong Cirrus Standardized Instructor Joe, handpicked from the best instructors in Atlanta, is one of the most thorough and meticulous pilots in the southeast. He is quite experienced (over 1000hrs of instruction given) and boasts a tremendous pass rate with all of his students. Bill Wirth Cirrus Standardized InstructorBill comes to us from Delta Airlines, where his career took him all the way to the Captain's set in the Boeing 777. With over 15,000 hrs of flight experience in numerous aircraft, Bill greatly complements the instructor corps at P&C Aviation. |

Jay Doyle FAA Gold Seal Flight Instructor In addition to his Cirrus experience, Jay brings a wealth of multi-engine flight instruction experience to P & C Aviation. As a graduate and former instructor at Airline Transport Professionals, his FAA Gold Seal flight instructor status is a testament to his preparation of students for their instrument ratings, commercial and ATP certificates. Jay joined our team in October 2006 and will be instrumental in continuing the grow the south Florida market. |

Jason Gaines Certified Flight Instructor Jason is one of the brightest instructors in the business today. A graduate of Embry Riddle University, he is type rated in the Falcon 20 business jet, Canadair Regional Jet, and many aircraft in the Cessna Citation Series. With over 600 hours of flight and instruction in the Cirrus in additional to his corporate and airline background, his experience is a perfect compliment to the training needs of our clients. |
